This course is a progression from the Beginner’s (Fundamental) Yoga Course, to deepen your yoga practice.
Expect individual attention, personal development, a safe & supportive environment and assistance from our experienced and conscientious teacher. On completion of the course, you will feel confident to do a home-practice or continue with weekly group classes.
What you will learn
- Techniques in yoga postures to further strengthen your body, improve muscle tone, posture and flexibility, preparing the body into a safe inversion called shoulderstand
- Progression of yogic philosophy to apply mindful tools in your everyday life
- Pranayama (breathing techniques) to rebalance the body and regain clarity of mind
- Energy locks called bandhas to skillfully channel energy for physical, emotional and mental well-being
